How Do You Decide: Whether you should invest in Project A or Project B

 NPV: Calculates the net present value of an investment using a discount rate and a series of future cash flows.

XNPV: Calculates the net present value of an investment using a discount rate and a series of cash flows that occur at irregular intervals

DB: Calculates the depreciation of an asset. 

PMT: Calculates the payment for a Loan.                              PPMT: Calculates principal payment in given period.    IPMT: Get interest amount of a loan payment in a given period.                            

IRR: Financial function that returns the internal rate of return for a series of  cash flows that occur at regular intervals.

XIRR: Financial function that returns the internal rate of return for a series of cash flows that occur at irregular intervals. 

SLN: Returns the depreciation of an asset for one period, calculated with a straight-line method.
